Direct Cremation Package  $675.00

Includes:

• 24 Hour Availability to respond to your request.
• Personal arrangement consultation.
• Transportation of the deceased (within 25 miles.)
• Refrigerated shelter of deceased until cremated.
• Preparation and delivery of the original death certificate to the doctor.
• Obtaining cremation approval from the County Medical Examiner.
• Filing the original death certificate with Vital Statistics.
• Ordering certified copies of death certificates.
• Placement of news obituary in local newspaper.
• Notification of Social Security.
• Cremation using rigid fiberboard container.

The A1 Affordable Cremation price of $675.00 is inclusive and complete.

However, there are some third party charges or fees that will apply in certain situations. There are also other items and services which we can provide to you at a very reasonable cost. These services and fees are listed below.

Additional Charges, Fees & Services:

• Transportation of deceased beyond 25 miles – $3.00 per mile.
• Refrigerated storage of deceased after 10 days – $15.00per day.
• Volusia County Medical Examiner cremation approval – $30.00.
• Certified Copies of Death Certificates (Volusia County $8.00) issued directly to family by County Vital Statistics.
• Domestic shipping of cremated remains by Registered Mail – $85.00.
• Scattering at Sea – $125.00.
• Removal of pacemaker, implanted mechanical or radioactive device – $210.00.
• Additional document generation for filing claims (assignment of portion of insurance proceeds, etc.) – $95.00.
• Additional Courier Fee (hand delivered documents or cremated remains within Volusia County) – $45.00.
• Re-order of death certificates – $20.00 plus the cost of the certificates.
• Video Tributes – 1 to 30 photos $95.00, 31 to 50 photos $125.00.
• Expedite Complete Direct Cremation Service – $250.00 (Normal delivery time for remains is 7 to 10 days after arrangements have been completed. A rush charge will apply when cremated remains are requested to be returned in less than 7 days, not including nights and weekends).
